Coconut wax blend with a paper core wick. Hand poured in small batches into a reusable and recyclable glass jar. Non toxic fragrance. Clean burning for 90-100 hours. Trim wick to 1/4”.

For optimal burning of your candle, the first burn is the most important. Candles should burn one hour for every 1 inch in diameter of the actual candle size. For example, a candle that is 2 inches across should burn for 2 hours. If a candle is not burned for long enough to allow the wax to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring.” Once a candle has a “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel for the life of the candle.

Candles in a jar or a container should be disposed of when they have half an inch of wax left in them. Without enough wax as a buffer, the flame can ignite debris (like a match particle or bits of wick that’s been left in the candle) and cause a blaze to flare up. Even if a fire doesn’t ignite, the low-level of wax in the jar increases the likelihood of the flame brushing against the sides and the bottom. If the glass gets hot enough, it could shatter. If you let the wax burn lower than half an inch, you are putting your home at risk.
